39 Days and Counting

Madagascar Rice Fields

For anyone new or unfamiliar with me and everything that has occured thus far - please take a look at one of my two YouTube Channels: Madagascar Adventure or Peace Corps Adventure

Currently, I'm up on the mountain with Copper where we've been living off-grid on and off for more than a year. But recently, we've been down in the valley with family for the holidays. It's much colder and inaccessable up here during the winter without the use of a snowmobile or tracked vehicle. We have neither, so we snowshoe up and down the mountain.

Coming up here yesterday, we found the solar batteries had discharged to 0%. That's what happens when the panels get covered in two feet of snow for a couple weeks. We've been using a small gas generator until we can get enough sun produced energy to recharge the batteries back to 100%. Maybe tomorrow.
