An update to the service after being home for almost two years. Not that anyone will read this.

Coming back was worse than I thought in terms of the guilt I feel for not having been able to do more or help more. And I still have enough footage for another 10 videos on the YouTube channel. Part of the problem was that I had a hard time watching the footage because of the associated memories.

And when I returned, I signed up and served as an additional recovery person for two different 12-step programs. I also volunteered as an employment specialist for about 6 months. I took on a job working the front desk and as a night auditor at a local hotel. I built a boat to take down the Mississippi River. I'm in the middle of writing a few books. And thus, new distractions have conspired to prevent the end of the Madagascar chapter of my life.

I tell myself that eventually I will finish those videos and give that channel and my adventure a more complete ending. I hope to, but life has gotten complicated and remains so.
